About The Upstate Christian Mom's Meetup Group

WELCOME TO UCM!!!






We are excited that you are interested in joining our group! We are a wonderful group of 'normal' moms who have come together to create a positive place of fellowship, encouragement, support and playtime! Our goal is to encourage one another to develop the fruit of God's Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). By growing these strengths in ourselves we hope to encourage our children to do the same!

This group is for moms with children ranging from age 0 to 7. We have mom's who work full time, part time or stay at home. We believe in God our Creator and in Jesus Christ, God's only son, and in the Holy Spirit who gives us the word and the love that makes us one. Any denomination is welcomed and church attendance is not required. We ask that you are willing to play an active role in our group. We are here to find friends for our kids and friends for ourselves and the only way to do that is to get out and meet others!

We have TONS of events a week. We know that everyone's schedule is different so we offer a wide range of events on different times and days! We have events in Greenville (including the surrounding areas: Mauldin, Simpsonville, Taylors & Greer.) & Spartanburg. Just to give you an idea of upcoming events:

When joining our group, you will be asked a few questions that will become your member profile for other members to get to know you better! Please be sure to fill these out completely!

• In the introduction, please tell us about yourself and children, such as ages, names, how long you have lived in South Carolina and if you moved here from somewhere else! Also, whether you are a working mom or a stay at home mom.
  
• The next question is how long have you been a Christian and if you attend a church. Don't worry if you do not attend one! This just helps those that do to see others who go to their church! If you do not currently attend one just let us know!
  
• Then, please tell us what area you are in and where you are willing to travel to help us better schedule events!
  
• The final question helps us to know why you decided to join us and what are some activities you family enjoys doing! We'd love to hear how you found us as well!
  
• In addition, we ask that you also include a photo of at least yourself so we can put a face with the name! We understand that this is not always possible right away. If you need help getting a picture, let us know.
