About Fun Moms of Huntington Beach

FUN MOMS of Huntington Beach is a very active play group for women and their children. Our meetups are Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday or Sunday events. At least once a month we like to get together without the kids and have Mom's Night Out or meetup for coffee and every few months we have a couples night out as well as family events.

Before applying for membership please read our ground rules. These rules help to keep our group a safe community for everyone to participate in.

(1) For safety reasons (and so that we will recognize new members) you need to post a picture of yourself on your bio. If there is no photo you will be declined membership.

(2) Members are responsible for RSVPing to ALL events posted on the site; whether it's a yes or a no, please RSVP. There is a lot of time, consideration and thought put into these events so please take a few minutes to respond. It's also important to be active on the Message Board and/or weighing in on the latest Poll. Participation both on the website and at events is key to having a successful group and making lasting friendships. This site needs to be a safe place for us to share personal information and we can't do that unless everyone is active on the site.

(3) You MUST attend at least one meetup per month. If you are unable to make any events for a particular amount of time, please contact the organizer as to why. It's important to keep up communication with each other. We have a strict "no lurkers" rule. You have one month from the time you joined to attend a meetup or you are subject to removal. This is so we know who is in the group and who is truly interested in making friends and participating in events.

(4) Show up! If you RSVP yes please come to the event. Of course things come up, just call and let us know that you are not coming so we don't worry about you. Take down a few numbers in case you get lost and need directions or can't make the event. Three no shows/no call will result in the possibility of your removal from the group.

(5) Please check the message board the day of an event to make sure the event hasn't been moved or canceled. Unfortunately, the weather doesn't always cooperate with our plans.

This is an active playgroup, so if you don't think you can fulfill these requirements, please don't join.
