We're an outgoing, active, down to earth, creative bunch of women, and we wanna have some fun with our kids!
We're open to all moms who are in search of a group that's unique, energetic and upbeat. We're always looking for new adventures, and we're not afraid to hop in our car & check out a new playground, restaurant, or local event in the Washington DC metro area! We are friendly, laid back, fun 'n' hip, and highly addictive! So we've been told!
We want you to come out and have fun with us too. If you happen to make new best-friends, then that's a bonus! We have so many active moms, you're pretty much guaranteed to always meet someone new at every event you attend!
All of our moms have one thing in absolute common: we want to provide our children environments in which to thrive & grow.
Our play dates encourage our children to learn, explore, become creative, and to develop social skills. We provide our children with many different opportunities to do and see new things. The more varied the experiences that she has, the more she will learn about the world.
During our age appropriate activities (walks, playgrounds, libraries, zoos) we're helping:
- Their language skills by providing them many opportunities to talk, listen and use language to solve problems and learn about the world we live in,
- Their negotiating skills, (no, no, that's mine, gimme that)!!!
- To set high standards & encourage our children to try new things. Children who aren't encouraged become bored, unhappy & frustrated. Children who sit in front of the tv all day grow up to become serial killers... no no no we're joking!

To join us, it's very simple and takes about 2 minutes! You must:
- Fill out a profile
- Include a current photo of YOURSELF, facing the camera - we don't know who to look out for at events otherwise!
We use this group as a means to verify that you are actually a mom, and not some guy with serial stalker tendencies, or worse!
If you do not find a date on this calendar that works for you, you can send us an email to get a few more dates of where you can meetup with our group.
Our group does tend to be made up more of stay at home moms, but working moms are also welcome! The majority of our events are held Mon-Friday, and our weekend events tend to either be moms only activities, or events for the whole family, so dad can participate too. Probably 60% of our activities are throughout MD, 30% in Northern VA, and 10% are held in the district.
We have established playgroups in MD, and Northern VA which are hosted by moms on our group, for moms on our group.
As soon as you make it out to one meeting, the organizer that you meet will explain how to get on our "real" group calendar.
To move to our other group you must:
- Keep a current photo of yourself up
- Have previously attended one event HERE and met with an organizer. (You'll then be "verified" & given access to this group, and it's for safety reasons only).
