Hi,
I was just wondering if you had a favorite playground in Eden Prairie.
One that is approriate for a 2-3 year old.
I have been going to the playground at the family center. I like the fact that there is a fence around it.

I don't know about parks in Eden Prairie, but our favorite park is the park on Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior. There's not a fence around it, and of course you have to be careful because there's water around it, but it's a nice medium-sized park with good toys for all ages, usually not too crowded, and in the summer it's great to have the little beach with sand to play in and refreshing water to wade in. It's a beautiful location & there's also usually a trolley with ice cream. The only drawback is strange hours for the bathrooms ... they seem to close them at 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Also, you have to really watch your kids since there isn't a fence. But if you're looking to discover new parks, it's one I'd recommend.

We really like Miller Park on Mitchell Lake. The playground equipment is very nice and there's plenty that would be appropriate for a 2-3 year old. No fence, but still a very nice park.
