  • Hi Kathy. We live just off of Eden Prairie Rd by Hwy 5, so not too far away. Would this Wednesday evening work for you (weather permitting)?

  • It sounds like the playgroup will be on Saturdays. I hope that will work for you. I'd love to go for a walk with the girls.....where 's Round Lake? I'm new to the area.

  • Walking and playing in a park sounds good. A play gym/in door pop-in play would be fun for Leela since she's all about crawling and standing up. There's jwtumbles (http://www.jwt umbles.com) in Edina. I haven't been but it might be fun.

  • I'm gone next week (so the 16th). The 23rd would be good. I live somewhat near highway 7 and 101 so I'm close to Eden Prairie (I'm practically on top of Purgatory Park if you know where that is). I've lived here for about a year but I don't really know the area all that well. If you have thoughts about what would be fun, that's super cool.

  • Thanks for the shout! Leela and I would love to get together with you and your daughter on a Tuesday or Friday (next week the exception since I'm traveling for business ... blech!).

  • We're in St. Louis Park, not far from Lake Calhoun.

  • Welcome to the group! I hope to meet you soon...you're in my neck of the woods!

  • I haven't been to an EP meet up yet. We move on June 23. I am thinking about comeing to an event to get to know the new mommies and kids...this may ease the everything-is-o verwhelmingly-n ew jitters of the move.

  • Sorry it took so long to respond to your Shout Out.....I guess I would have to say my favorite meet ups are
Spiritual (not really religious) types of groups! It seems to be my passion these days, along with family oriented communities and of course, my only real addiction, Karaoke! LOL! I tend to work alot and most of the groups meet at times I am not able...but once in awhile I will be able to meet up, have fun and enjoy others company!

  • Thanks Kathy. I look forward to meeting you as well.

  • I would love to get together for a walk or playtime once it gets warm!

  • Hi Kathy. I would love to get together for a walk sometime soon. Hopefully the weather will be in our favor. Thanks for asking.

  • Such an adorable picture! Caitlin and I hope to meet you soon!

  • Cool! Let me know when you're ready to set something up.

  • Hey! Good to hear from you! I'm a wahm, with really flexible daytime hours. I would love to plan something with the kids during the day. Even if it's just meeting at a Caribou.

  • That would be great! I love being outside. I'd be willing to meetup anywhere for that. It won't be long until it's nice enough out! Can't wait!! As for the meetup meetings, I might be willing to go. I'll have to look and see when the next one is. I'll let you know.

  • Kaitlin usually naps from 9-11 and then from 2-3:30. She is really flexible though so any daytime activities work for us. I'm going to have to look into some of the things you do. Thanks!

  • Hi Kathy! Thanks for the shout out! Your daughter is a cutie!!

I'm a SAHM to my 9 month old daughter Kaitlin. I joined this in hopes of meeting some new people. I have not gone to any meetups yet. I guess I'm more interested in finding things to do during the day when my husband is at work. I need out of this house - LOL!

Are you a SAHM mom also? What kind of activities/clas ses are you and Megan doing? So far we do nothing and that needs to change!
