Chili Cheese Dog Luncheon

There is an organization called Thrivent Insurance that matches funds for community organizations, like our MOMS GROUP. Since there are several members of Prince of Peace that are members of this Thrivent organization, we are able to put together a fundraiser/luncheon and with the donations that are made at the luncheon, Thrivent will MATCH them up to $400.

So on Sunday, July 13th @ 12pm (after the 10:30 service) we will be having a Chili Cheese Dog Luncheon to raise some money for the moms group, which will then get matched by this organization. We will be able to use the money to help purchase items for the MOMS GROUP Playroom (big rug, other toys, craft material, etc.) as well as maybe having a fund set aside to defer the cost of gas, etc. if we plan to have a meetup at the Columbia Zoo or something of that nature.

So come and bring your family to eat some yummy Chili Cheese Dogs (no cost to you)! You don't have to feel obligated at all, but it would be great to have you there if you're interested!

If you would like to donate any baked goods or dessert of any kind to help out with the luncheon, please let me know...we'd welcome that as well!
