The Very Hungry caterpillar
After reading this Eric Carle classic story, we'll play a board game based on the story where your child will practice color recognition, counting and contrasts as we see the caterpillar develop from an egg to a butterfly. For craft, we'll paint and decorate an egg carton caterpillar friend and use ink stamps that depict the butterfly life cycle. For snack we'll enjoy some fruits and vegetables that caterpillars might eat. If weather permits, we'll go outside with our giant scarves and pretend to fly like butterflies.
10:00-12:00 for $12. (Children welcome to arrive at 9:00 for an additional $8 or stay until 12:30 with a bagged lunch for an additional $4.)
