Soon you will be winding in and out of the path of history in the Ghost Trolley of Old Monterey, visiting locations of recent and historical sightings. Along the way, you will visit the oldest church in California, Monterey's historic cemetery and old legendary adobes to relive the stories of their inhabitants. Meeting Place 1 Portola Plaza Monterey CA (by the fountain) Coming from the north On Highway 1, Take exit 402B to merge onto Del Monte Ave toward Pacific Grove - 1.9 Miles. Slight left to stay on Del Monte Ave 0.1 Mile - Turn right at Alvarado St into Portola Plaza. Dont be scared , come on out! The tour starts at 8:00 pm. Sep 24 6:00 PM	"I Wanna Rock!" - Rock Climbing at Sanctuary Rock Gym 2 attended (est.) – 5.001 Be bold. Be daring. Be adventurous. Be on a rock wall. We're challenging ourselves to new things at the Sanctuary Rock Gym in Sand City. We have their "party loft" reserved so that climbers can "refuel" with some good eats. So make your favorite sweet or savory party foods and join us for a rockin' good time. Its $30 per person for 3 hours of climbing and all rental equipment, climbing shoes and beginner's belay class. Please RSVP to Heather Mitchell at heatheramitchell@yahoo.com. Sanctuary Rock Gym needs to know how many are coming. The belay class is a mandatory class on the ropes and pulley system used in their facility. It's a good thing, especially for the one up the wall. We are meeting at Cynthia Shaffer's house for a little knitting and crocheting for NICU babies at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto. Quilters are welcome, too. There will be some finger foods and bite-sized goodies and maybe a little wine. (Not too much, we still have to count stitches!)
