I joined Luna moim's club last year but never had a chance to join any activiies in the past. I have more time on my hands now and would love to get myself and my 3 1/2 year old son out and about more. How can I get started? Do I show up to the next meet up spot that is emailed to me? My name is Heather. I'm helping out with the calendar and activities for the LUNA group. We're currently trying to update the calendar and get some more group activities centering on "active" moms. Jamie, the organizer, local fitness moms and the moms with Stroller Strides are getting together to participate in the "March of Dimes" 10K Family Walk/Run on May 17th at Lover's Point. Please keep checking the calendar. We'll have some more activities soon!

Thursday at 11 am , were are having a playgroup at Hayes Park in Seaside. Its on the Fort Ord area. Encouraging your child to bring out a ball ( or not , I will bring extra). There is an open grass area next to the community center where they can run around with the balls. If not there is a great jungle gym there.

Thanks for replying back. I will be subbing for the next to weeks so I won't be able to attend the Hayes Park meet up. Thanks for the invite. Should I just check the calendar for upcoming play groups?
