We're all parents, so we know how hectic life gets when we bring a new baby home or a loved-one is in the hospital or has surgery. With that in mind, we want to make your life a little easier by providing dinner for you and your family!
How it works:
Dinners will be provided for three nights by fellow PPP members who volunteer to participate. Members are eligible to receive meals for any of the following reasons: recent birth or adoption of child; recent surgery of spouse or child; recent hospitalization of spouse or child.
For the meal recipients:
No worries about dinner for a few nights - how nice is that? Fill out a meals questionnaire and members will bring yummy meals right to your door!
For the meal providers:
We don't expect gourmet meals - just make extra of what your family is having for dinner, wrap it up (preferably in disposable containers so the family won't have to return dishes), and bring it to the recipient's house.
Additional Information:
- If you would like to contribute a meal, please speak to an organizer.
- If you feel your family could benefit from this program, or know a member who may fall into this category, please contact one of our organizers or fill out the meals questionnaire.
We are excited to provide "Mommy Meals", but member participation is totally voluntary.
