Welcome, Boise Moms!
Meet mothers in the Boise area that are involved in mountain sports. This meetup is for connecting with other moms who mountain bike, downhill ski, nordic ski, climb, backpack, kayak, snowboard, trail run, etc.
The goal of Mountain Mamas is twofold:
- to connect with Moms in the Boise area that are into similar activities, so that we can make plans to periodically leave the kids with Dad, Grandma, a friend, etc, and get out and nurture our "Mountain Mama" spirits!
- to provide an opportunity for our children to get to know each other!
No matter what age your child(ren) may be, you are welcome! So far we have some moms with babies, others with toddlers, and others with teenagers.
There will be planned playdates for the babies, toddlers, and kids. And there will also be mountain activities just for the moms.
So, if you are into mountain sports and have a child of any age, you should join Mountain Mamas!

This will be a BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) informal affair, so pack (or buy) yourself a picnic, grab a blanket, and come on out to Memorial Park, beside the Federal Courthouse at the corner of 6th and Fort in Boise. Read more
