Open House

The open house event on June 13th at Changing Hands bookstore is a kick-off event to create Metro Phoenix's first local chapter of a national organization that is widely recognized and respected as a resource link for helping parents to find support and information on holistic health, wellness, positive parenting, and green living. Monthly meetings will follow on the first Wednesday of each month starting in July.

Our goal is to develop a nurturing and unified community of parents who support one another, share their knowledge and experiences, and encourage awareness about holistic parenting and green living. For more information, visit www.holisticmoms.org.

What to Expect? An open, welcoming community of others, mostly moms, interested in holistic living - some practicing it in full force, some just dabbling with a budding interest, and some making a career of it - all are welcome and encouraged to join us! We'll have door prizes and snacks (no drinks, but feel free to bring one with a lid), and we'll give an overview of what the national organization is about and what our vision is for the local chapter, including a glimpse at the amazing lineup of speakers we're putting together, experts in their respective fields! New member brochures and handouts will be available.

Note to those with businesses: openly soliciting your business is not allowed at the open house or at future meetings, but you may leave handouts on a table for others to browse through.

Note to those bringing children: we welcome children at all our meetings, but we do encourage that you keep any disruptions to a minimum - we're all understanding, but we do want to hear the speakers and each other. Thanks!
