I decided to start this group because I feel there is a need for it! Step motherhood is not the easiest job in the world. Some "real" moms look at us as "fake" moms; school forms don't include us, introductions can be awkward, etc. But I for one know that I am a real mom to my step kids. And I know that I am someone who could use support sometimes from other women who've been there and done that. Are you one too?

This group welcomes new members by referral only. This meetup is for new moms with their first baby born after June 2008.  Some moms have even welcomed their second child.  We are mostly 30 something stay-at-home moms living in the Atlanta area.
