For the mom(to be) or adoptive mom, this group is designed to network and share child rearing experieinces. If most of your friends are grandparents or have older children, lets get together and share the unique experience of child rearing at this stage in our lives.

I decided to start a group for moms that are in their mid-30's to late 40's and have toddlers. I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 toddlers and it's been difficult finding a playgroup that included moms around my age. I found many groups of cool moms that were much younger than me, but I wanted to find some women that I felt I had more in common with. This group is open to SAHM's, work at home moms, or any other mom that would like to join.

… The other purpose of the group is for us moms to be able to share stories, support, and maybe make a few friends as well. I feel that keeping it local to Locust Grove/Lake of the Woods, it will be easier to get together and easier for us to be a more tight-knit group. Any mom with children up to the age of five in Lake of the Woods or Locust Grove (or any mom willing to travel to Locust Grove) should join this group. Older siblings are definitely welcome as well.

A group for working Moms. This is a new group formed in October 2011.  We are working moms who live in the Manassas area. Our activities include play dates, outings, lunches and Mom only events.
