I decided to start a group for moms that are in their mid-30's to late 40's and have toddlers. I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 toddlers and it's been difficult finding a playgroup that included moms around my age. I found many groups of cool moms that were much younger than me, but I wanted to find some women that I felt I had more in common with. This group is open to SAHM's, work at home moms, or any other mom that would like to join.

Bump-It is the perfect group for moms to be and new moms! Let’s face it: humans are social creatures! We were never meant to sit around alone, twiddling our thumbs, waiting for something to happen. We were meant to be out enjoying the world, taking in the sights, breathing the fresh air and enjoying the company of others! So why is it that when we get pregnant life suddenly seems to come to a screeching halt? I’m Sarah and I’m proud to be on the track towards first time mommy hood although I’ll …

I would like to start a women's bible study group in the Northern VA area for Catholic moms (married moms, single moms, working or stay-at-home moms, etc.). I am 37 years old, a wife and mother (I have a 22-month old son), and I realize I need faith and prayer more than ever. I also would love the fellowship and opportunity to learn from other moms. I work full-time, so would prefer to meet up on the weekend, maybe once/month.

I have seen a lot of groups for new moms in their 20's and 30's, but not as many for new moms in their 40's so I decided to organize one for playtime and some mommy chat, maybe even get togethers with spouses/daddies as well. Also, it is okay if you are not quite over 40, you can be close to, way passed, aspiring to get there some day (grin)...this is simply about meeting new people, making friends, having some laughs and enjoying time with the kiddos.
